Yahoo! This is my 50th post, and in celebration there of, there will have to be something memorable. Thinking about what I would like to say on this auspicious occasion, I kept going back to a song that I learned in Girl Scouts. (Yup...I was a scout right through high school and I loved it). The song goes...Make new friends and keep the old, One is silver and the other gold.....Where would we be without our friends? So, to make this short and sweet, I would like to say thank you for reading what I have to say. You mean the world to me.
I thought that a little give away is in order to celebrate, so here is what I came up with... to my golden friends, the ones who have been diligently reading my blog for a while now, I would like to honor one of you with this golden fairy princess. I have a large collection of fairies that come out every year for Christmas and I would like to share this one with someone (I wish that I could share one with all of you, but I only have one). So just leave a message on this post, and after the weekend, on Monday, I will randomly pull a name out of the comments and send her on her way. Secondly, because I like to meet new friends, I have another give away. I will separate the new commenters from the golden knowns, and pull two other random names to give a silver gift to. I have two of these silvery glittered icicles, still new in their boxes to give away. If you kindly might mention in your postings to friends yet to meet about this give away, maybe someone special to you will one of these silvery glittery ornaments. Just tell them to leave a comment. I love to know what everyone is thinking about.
I have truely enjoyed reading what you have to say about your lives, families, homes, passions, and all of the new ideas that you have brought to me. Thank you for being my golden friends and I look forward to meeting the silvers. Oh and if you have been lurking, and don't have a blog, send me an email. You count too.
