Walking through town with my daughter today, we found ourselves to be very inspired by the Valentine window displays. Some of the shop keepers were so nice...pleasant to chat with and happy to let us take pictures. Others were just plain paranoid...no pictures. Okay, we didn't want to step on anyones toes, so here for your viewing pleasure are some pictures of fabulous Valentine bling... All of these pictures came from the windows of one strore. I just love this shop, for its originality and spunk. They call the hats the church lady hats, but I could totally see them at any event in England. This pink number was my favorite. The peace heart necklace is just wonderful (are you paying attention honey??) and I thought the heart shaped earrings were over the top fabulous.I also had to grab a picture of these gigantic and outrageous pastel colored pearls. Don't they make a to die for necklace? This last window picture, was taken outside the card shop in town. They have a strict policy of no pictures inside the store..it is all very hush hush. It's a pity too, because the inside was a wonderful display of papers and cards and hearts galore, but oh well. Hope you enjoyed the tour of Monmouth Street. I will try to get some other pictures of some of the other shops in town this weekend. The hearts are everywhere!
