Finally, a little sunshine and an opportunity to appreciate... how much our little community garden plot has grown.
The zucchini flowers mean that there will be zucchini on the menu very soon.
Our little potager in our backyard is starting to look exciting too,
with the exception of the pepper plants which could not deal with the cool temperatures and excessive rain.
The nasturtium flowers have decided to make an appearance, much to my delight, and
the hydrangea in the front and back gardens
are just painting the landscape
with the most lovely blue, purple and lavender colors. To add to the calidescope,
the lillies are screaming for attention too.
The potted plants are expecting their 15 minutes of fame as well,
showing up in their begonia pink finery and the cool white of a vintage pot.
It is all just tooo lovely. I hope that you are enjoying the summer gardens as much as I am.
♥, Susan

It is all so lovely.

It's fabulous! I can't wait to "meet" it in person. My sunflowers are still not quite growing....I fear they may be victims of too-much-water-not-enough-sun. We shall see.
Also, the red leafy plants you gifted me with started to bloom little yellow flowers this weekend. Yay! I love the red leaf/yellow flower combo -- so unique.

Isn't it so green and lush this year! I think it's coming to an end here in Virginia. We don't have any rain in our forecast and my rain barrels are getting low. I'll be breaking out the sprinklers soon, but I've enjoyed everyone's gardens. I love your little potager!

Hi Sue
Your gardens are growing so abundantly! I love the nasturtium hydrangeas and lilies.
Have faith --your pepper plants will pick up now that the sun is shining!
Thanks for telling me your favorite childhood books --I liked Nancy Drew but loved the Cherry Ames, Student Nurse series ..lol
