I would like a show of hands here...please tell me if you have done this before, or if I am unique to this condition. We started the project of replacing an old, leaky shower in our upstairs bathroom with a shiny, updated new one...simple...yes?
If you are putting in a new shower, then you might as well put in a new sink, toilet, walls and floor and while you are at it, instead of having the door open to the hallway, why not have the door open to the bedroom instead?
Since we are doing all of this work upstairs, we might as well move our kids to the downstairs bedrooms...yes, all of their furniture and belongings were moved last week...and the furniture in the rooms they are now inhabiting? That would have found places in the living room, dining room, master bedroom, garage and basement. Oh, and there are lingering pieces in the hallway. Since we have the kids taking over the downstairs then we should move ourselves upstairs...two rooms needing updating and painting before we can bring up our furniture and such...now, I would like to know if we need a therapist on speed dial or is this something that you would do too?...Just asking.
In the meantime, I have some delightful holiday decor pictures courtesy of my friends at Shutters...
If I were a little Princess, this would be my house :)....
Don't forget to click on the pictures to enlarge them...the little elves are worth it!!
The pillow with the red truck is my favorite...so tempting! This is my inspiration to do some decorating in the red and white genre.
