The lamp is just adorable! I think the wire wreath is a great idea for cards. I may steal that one :)

Carol @ There's Always Thyme to Cook

Love your red, white and blues! The Ferris Wheel pics are so cool, great way to end the season!

mary

You don't have to sell ME on red... lol Fabulous mosaics, Susan! xoxo

Pat

I always love the items you show from Shutters, Susan. It looks like a store I'd love to browse around in. I like that metal wreath and all the Santa Clauses!

Lavender Dreams

I love all of the bright cheery reds, too! I love your mosaics...always fun! ♥

dotsie (aka podso)

Lots of beauty to see there and the red is gorgeous. We all need some red in our houses I think!

Lavender Cottage

The basket of kittens lamp is adorable. I'm not a red person but will throw in little accents at this time of year just because it is such a cheery colour.

Hi Susan! It sounds like you are finding joy in your new transitions even while missing your own store...
I always do enjoy and am drawn to a pop of red! Have a great week.

A Garden of Threads

Cute lamp. I cannot think about Christmas yet, too soon for me.

Jane @ Cottage at the Crossroads

That lamp with the cats is so darn cute. I clicked on the link to see how much it was. Not a bad price for such a unique item!

Gillian

Cozy, cozy!

Elaine

Looks like a great shop! Red accents can be very pretty and presented with light blue, it can look quite sophisticated. Hope you have fun decorating your own home!

Vee

I would've enjoyed walking around in that shop so much. Pops of color are important to me so I understand your love of red. (Currently, my love, too.)

Susan

The wire wreath would be a great idea for displaying cards! What a charming shop! I love browsing places like that too.

Pat Langley

I like red, but not toooo red. Also think blue is pretty at Christmas time.

Sally

I'm glad you found blues.

Happy Blue Monday, Susan.

MC

Obsessed with those photos! ♥

Hopping from Blue Monday.

Pretty decoration and just by looking at your photos I get inspired too on how I am going to decorate this Christmas. I see that lamp...i might try decorating my bland lamps into Christmasy look ^_^ Happy Monday!

Glenda/MidSouth

Thanks for the tour. I have been trying to stay out of stores like that this year, so I won't be tempted. :D

Jenn

Great neutrals, blues and reds. I like your comments about taking your own time to get into the seasons. We've had so much drought that it's been dead before being fall. Kinda dreary at times - with weather from frosty to humid and hot ... very crazy stuff. Kind of like neutrals, reds and blues! Enjoyed your post. Thanks, Jenn

Valerie

There is a lot of Christmas decor in the stores here and the towns have been decorating the light poles in anticipation of Santa Claus parades. I love all that I just hate the shopping. Grown. V

Hi Susan I am always inspired by clever decorating in any season. Love this very much.
Hugs, Jeanne
