Going through all of the containers and boxes in the basement, I am finding things from when I had an antiques store many, many years ago, as well as items from the Black Eyed Susan's Kitchen store that I had only a few years ago. Little time capsules that are not really that easy to deal with. One of the boxes that I opened had a collection of white pitchers. Some vintage porcelain and some modern. I also found the wedding bell and white rose wreath.
There was also a box of vintage/antique Libretto's. Making their way to Saturday's yard sale,
will be everything that you see here including some Royal Doulton Antique things like this pitcher,
a basket full of vintage playbills and other ephemera. The 40's, 50's and 60's when
smoking looked glamorous and Gwen Verdon was the star on Broadway. Sigh.... These came from a time and place when people could afford to go see a Broadway show,
and these people must have really enjoyed it. Once upon a time....I hope someone will want to buy these. Sigh...again.
♥, Susan
Oh, and don't forget to stop here and leave a comment for the witchy give away!

I wish I could be there for it! I suddenly have a love affair with white pitchers. Must be from seeing them at the antique mall. You have some wonderful things to sell.

What a great stash of stuff you'll have at your yard sale! Wish I could be there, especially for those vintage tablecloths. It would be worth the trek from CT to NJ but I'm having my open studio on the 25th. Looks like we're both in for some mighty fine weather. Yay!

I bet everything goes quickly.
Hey you were talking yard sales in your area...did you know that Rt 50 have a yard sale from your area thru Southern Ohio all the way to Sacremento Ca? in May? We've been to parts of the Longest Yard Sale from Michigan to Georgia (Cincy to Chatanooga), but wow that would be a big yard sale.

Susan, you have some wonderful items for your sale. I'm like you and sometimes I find it hard to go through the boxes I have packed away. And, your right about them being little time capsules of our lives. Maybe that's why it's easier to go through someone elses stuff.

I couldn’t wait to be back online and over here looking at what I missed out on (I just love to tease myself like that!). I am SO SAD that I was out of town! Not that I didn't have a lovely week of gallivanting. This looks like my kind of yard sale for SURE. Any leftovers I can route through? :-)
