Hello there...it has been a few days. Every now and then a little break becomes necessary, and for the past week or so, I have been, well, on a self imposed time out. Finding myself a little crabby, I thought that some time at the beach would help. This is what the Jersey Shore looks like on a beautiful Friday afternoon in September. We enjoyed a little lunch in this restaurant, and gazed at the ocean. As we were leaving, I felt the need to take one more picture of the deep blue sea and bluer than blue sky. I will be back tomorrow with a vintage tablescape post.
♥, Susan
Well your last post was so fabulous that it was a good one to leave us with! :-) I hope you enjoyed your little break...I'm finding that I need them, too. Plus when you take a break and get a day like the one in these pictures...it makes is sooooooo much easier to get back into the swing (unless you're like me -- I stayed at the shore Sunday night and when I woke up early Monday to a spectacular day, I was instantly crabby about having to go to work. :-)
Thanks for your advice about the doors. I've been looking at them for close to two years now and I'm at a total loss!

Good for you for realizing that you needed to get away. We have a trip planned to the coast in December and I can hardly wait. In fact, I think we should get away sooner. We'll see...

Just gazing at those luscious photos made me feel this calm descend over me. I'd love to be able to see that!
