This just in...it's snowing up here in New Jersey, and not just a little flurry either. I wonder if this will be the big blizzard of 2009?
This is a picture of the front of our house, taken from the street, in the snow. That tiny little red light in the upper left hand corner is the wreath next to the front door.
There sure is a lot of snow...hope we will be seeing snowmen tomorrow. In the meantime, a few indoor shots
just to let Santa know that we are ready.
The trees are all decorated,
and look festive in the dark or the light.
Even the old dining room chandelier is decked out with icicles, and the goodies are piling up on the table for tomorrow nights party.
So, blizzard or not, the guests will be able to attend..the beauty of a neighborhood party....you can put on your snow shoes, pop the kids on the sled, and walk across the street. It should be lots of fun!!
♥, Susan
Brrrrrr! Thank goodness I live in Hampton now. We got more flooding than snow, just a dusting. Any amount of flakes sends the kids out into the streets here. Snow is a BIG event for them. Our first xmas in NJ we had 2 feet of snow! I remember the dog walking on top of it. Post some pictures of your winter wonderland. xo, suzy

If it wasn't a neighborhood party, it might be a bust. Don't know if folks could get to your house through that!
