Sometimes the expected can make me so deliriously happy when the result comes out exactly as hoped for. The daffodil plants bought last week, with great expectations of sunshine yellow flowers, have in no way disappointed! I knew they would bloom...I had faith in their future...and the future is today's reality.
A few other signs that Spring is upon us....not literally, but I know in my heart of hearts that it will show up eventually, so I am trying to nudge it along. I am thinking of bunny rabbits and ducklings instead of the next big storm that the media is hyping. I will enjoy my two newest finds that have been added to my aluminum collection... a Canterbury Arts candle holder, and an Arthur Armour snow flake motif tray to add to the collection on the hutch in my dining room. An odd photo of me taking a picture of the sideboard in the dining room where I was caught in the mirrored reflection in front of the hutch with my collection of Arthur Armour trays. The newest tray is number 21 in the quest for all of the different motifs made in this one particular size and shaped tray. I once had and sold 28 in the collection, have since found 21 and one never before seen by me, making the number of known motifs 29...8 more to go before accomplishing this goal...I wonder if I will find others though. The hunt continues.
This Monday morning post is being linked to Susan's Metamorphosis Monday at her blog Between Naps on the Porch. It is also being linked to Smiling Sally's Blue Monday. Also, for the first time, I am linking this to Mellow Yellow Mondays
because yellow makes me smile.
I hope that you are smiling too!

Ooh Susan! I've been eyeing that aluminum lately at the flea and I meant to do some research. Thanks so much for jogging my memory! Your collection looks great!

The flowers are beautiful. I keep saying we're going to plant some in the yard, but that seems to be lower on our Honey Do list. I've always like aluminum pieces. I believe my mom has a few - I need to raid her cabinets!
Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comment. Be sure to come back on Tues and Wed for more.

The flowers are beautiful. We should be seeing them sprout out of the ground here any day. That is quite a collection of trays. The best part is the thrill of the hunt.

Good morning Susan. I can't believe those flowers bloomed so quickly. Beautiful! We have lots of wild ones around here and I am on the lookout for some blooms. Come on Spring.
Your aluminum collection is very nice. It looks great on the hutch. Love your photo caught in the act. Cute!!! Good luck with your tray search.

Nice post Susan!
I love daffodils and I think I saw some beginning to come up in my garden this weekend under the snow. Your indoor arrangement is delightful!
The new aluminum tray is so pretty. I'm glad you are slowly finding all the designs you need to complete your collection again.

That sounds like a good goal to me! :-) And your new pieces are lovely.
Right now my goal is to find a new job so I can smile (and blog) again. ;-)

Ooh, love the teeny daffodils!
The "serendipitous self portrait" of you in the mirror with your tray collection in the background is great. It's a really interesting shot!
