Being happy is a proactive event, especially at this time of year. Maybe that is why we have some of those light hearted holidays in February. Valentines Day, Mardi Gras, Chinese New Year, and Presidents Day. They are all celebrations...happy celebrations.
I thought that I would bring you some reasons to smile today... From Sickles Market, our local greenhouse in Little Silver NJ, how about the bird of Paradise plant...making me feel a little exotic.
Then there was this bright Cyclamen in its own little green house...
and this one too containing a Maidenhair fern...love this! As I walked through,
I happened upon these fantastic cup style planters,
and this adorable display of oversized cups and saucers in pastel colors...and how cute are those birds.
There were signs of Spring everywhere, and so many cheerful pinks.
I loved these pale pink planters, so very tempting. When I came upon these,
I had to do a double take, do you know what they are? I sure didn't...
thought they might be alien invaders,
all hanging in a row like that from the rafters of the greenhouse, and then I saw this sign
and knew that these Pitcher plants are very exotic and carnivorous...how cool is that?
Now here was a plant that I could easily identify...love the Thyme and the cement cabbage in the center. As I was checking out, I could not resist snapping a shot of this wall of hopes and dreams
...all of these seeds will soon be beautiful plantings in the gardens..it is all so exciting!!
What did I bring home..you ask? Some soon to be flowering yellow daffodils. A sure sign that Spring is around the corner.
This post is being linked to Marty's blog, A Stroll Thru Life, for her cloche party because everything here is under the glass greenhouse roof. Also for the two little glassed in cloches that I would have loved to take home with me. This is also being linked to Melissa's Beautiful Life Fridays at the Inspired Room, because I was so inspired by the flowers and plants.
For all of the beautiful pinks , I am also linking up to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.
I hope that you are enjoying your weekend, and feeling whimsical and inspired.
♥, Susan
Beautiful Pics !

What a wonderful tour! I'm dying to get to the nursery and see what's new. I love those tea cup planters. I wonder if mine will have them. Out here it's either been raining or I've been sick. Hopefully, I'll be out next week and find something new for my patio.
Have a wonderful weekend Susan!

Like the sign says in your photo: Bloom. Plants, please come up for spring and just bloom, for heavens sake! Enough of winter blahs. Sorry, made me salivate and yearn.

Oooooo....I think I want a pitcher plant to tackle those pesky Jersey Shore mosquitos! I wonder if they really work?
