Once upon a time, a blogger named Beverly came up with an idea. This idea was so easy for so many women to wrap their minds around. Once a week, we will write about the color pink. Writing a blog post that ultimately reminds us of our kindred spirits, our daughters, mothers, sisters, aunts and friends who have, will, or might possibly have to deal with breast cancer. What I have learned from Beverly's blog and the subsequent bazillion posts of all the women who jumped on board is that there is no end to the pink in our lives. We appreciate the color in so many ways...the gifts from nature,
the decor we surround ourselves with, and even the choices of what we wear. It seems to me that pink is the universal color for women...reminding us that we are strong, healthy, smart, creative, and appreciative human beings.
Beverly came up with a remarkable idea and clearly, I am not the only woman who thinks so. Congratulations to Beverly for being celebrated by Artful Blogger...Pink Saturday was, and still is a very good idea!

This was such a sweet and lovely tribute to not only sweet Beverly, but to all the women that participate in Pink Saturday. I've made so many new and wonderful friends through our Pink days...I've absolutely enjoyed each one.

Hello Susan. your pink Saturday post is lovely. I am visiting so late because I spent time in Atlanta this weekend. Two of my sisters are antique dealers and they do the Scott's Antique market sale every month. We surprised them with a visit and a birthday party. It was fun to have all five of us together. Two of them had birthdays.
Pink Saturday is special and it is wonderful that Artful Blogger did such a wonderful article on the PS celebration that we have enjoyed for almost two years. Beverly deserves the praise.
