Today is the second anniversary of Beverly's Pink Saturday link in, on her blog, How Sweet the Sound. In honor of this occasion,
I would like to bestow upon Beverly a bouquet of pink roses.
Pink Saturday has given us the opportunity to bond over our feelings for a color.
Primarily a female thing, it has given us a place to show off our pretty pink finds, the vintage and the new.

and the home grown. Congratulations to Beverly for bringing together so many pink thinking people, and I look forward to another year of Pink Saturdays.

A treasure, found at a yard sale. When I found it, I knew it was special, and I knew that someone would like to own it, but I wasn't sure who that could be. Maybe you? Susan, I've been reading your blog for a while now, always lurking....until now, when I seen the lovely little trinket box I knew I just had to enter the drawing. I can imagine the previous owner: A young woman about to start a whole new portion of life, maybe becoming a brand new wife or maybe just graduating from high school and looking forward to college. I also imagine the gifter to be someone very special to the young girl, maybe a grandmother, her mother, a very special aunt, or even an older/younger sibling. I think that if the trinket box could talk it would have some very good stories to tell about its life. I would like to be the one that gives this box it's next new home.
