Oh, the month of June...there is never a dull moment! Just watching the garden's grow is an event for me, however, there have been so many other wonderful things happening. Let me present to you, our son, the high school graduate!! Without getting all mushy, I will just say that we are so proud of our youngest child. Cheers to the class of 2010...may you make this world a better place for us all!!
Today is also the day that I get to join Rhondi's Porch Party. This has been an annual event since I started blogging and it is so much fun to visit all of the others "attending" her party. Everything near the porch is blooming right now. I will begin with the views from our front porch. If you look above the center begonia, you can see my ghostly head floating in the window. The hydrangea are as blue as they can be, and the roses are just gorgeous. I love the pop of red from the geraniums, and the scent of all the flowers mingling together is heaven.
The front porch is my favorite spot this year. There are plenty of places to sit,
and how pleasant it is to chat with who ever decides to stop by...neighbors, friends, kids...it's all good. So come by, pull up a chair and rock a little with me while we solve the problems of the world from the front porch.
This post is being linked to Smiling Sally's Blue Monday and Susan's Between Naps on the Porch for Metamorphosis Monday. I am also joining up with Little Red House for Mosaic Monday, and of course, Rhondi of the Rose Colored Glasses for her Porch Party!
♥, Susan

Oh my, my grrrlfriend! You have them all graduated!!! you lucky girl! I'm jealous, you are just a few short years away from that elusive maturity independence. If only we had thought this one through in the beginning, would be have gone there??
OF COURSE!, but isn't it wonderful to be coming out the other side? I can't wait.
I'm sure some wonderful adventures are waiting for us. xo, suzy

I love your porch. What a comfortable place that looks to sit out. Houses always used to have porches and you could actually talk to your neighbors. Then houses for a long time were built without them. I hope they go back to making big porches.

We don't have a front porch...so we use the deck. Not the same, though. Your porch is wonderful. I can just imagine sitting in those chairs as they so gracefully rock.

So nice when you have someone graduating, but yet sad in a sense. Means they are possibly leaving and going into a different aspect of their life. I would enjoy sitting in one of your chairs visiting with you.
