There is something about the Spring and Summer weather and activities that really feeds my soul. The amazement of watching what is growing in the garden from the early shoots to the full grown plants. Picking the peas this weekend, and planning a meal around them, it is all so very magical to me. These peas will be going into some pasta tonight...yummm!
I have also been busy cleaning out the linen closet (yes...still!) and listing more of the vintage tablecloths on Etsy.
I love, love, love the bright and happy prints, especially the berry motifs. There is something so very country and summery about them. I have been taking pictures of the cloths and will eventually put them into a scrap book so that I can still look at them when I like. I especially liked this strawberry cloth with the sky blue border. To me, it is the epitome of what a vintage 1950's cloth should look like. The need to clear out some of the inventory left over from my store was just very necessary. After all, how can I continue to collect when I have no place to store anything?
This post is being linked to Little Red House for Mosaic Monday, Smiling Sally's for Blue Monday, and Between Naps on the Porch for Metamorphosis Monday.
