The fact that this is my favorite time of year is now firmly established...decorating, or redecorating, or even calling it seasonal decorating comes with the territory.
First let's start with the signs of the time...it's okay, I know you want to stop and read them. Need more inspiration? How about all of this fantastic black and white decor? The only problem that I have with all of this is what to choose first...the girls at Shutters are master decorators and have such great ideas.
Now the blues and greens in this mosaic are totally my cup of tea...Any one of these items could be a perfect accessory in our living room. I am definitely thinking that the sand dollar pillow and the cow painting might have a future in our home.
I love this Autumn vignette, and this vignette in the earthy shades of brown. More inspiration came in the form of this fabulous desk...painted the perfect shade of red.
I would love to decorate my office around this desk.
Maybe a cheerful shot of red accessories in the kitchen would liven things up, or maybe
a happy red checked lampshade. I will leave all of you and your vivid imaginations with two thoughts....
both carrying important advice from when we were children...The wheels on the bus do indeed go round and round, and something else we learned that is much more fun...
If we color outside the lines, our imaginations soar... and what better resource do we have for an inspired new look, be it seasonal or permanent. Shutters can be found at 604 River Rd in Fair Haven, NJ. They are having an open house November 4th from 10 till 9 and would love to see you there...please tell them that Black Eyed Susan's sent you. If you see anything that you really must have right away, call the lovely ladies at 732 842-6611.
This post is being linked to Little Red House for Mosaic Monday, Smiling Sally's for Blue Monday, and Between Naps on the porch for Met Monday. Please stop by these wonderful blogs to see all of the other creative happenings.

Hi Susan, thank you for your welcoming visit yesterday. After five days of tons of company and a BBQ for nearly 50, I just sort of melted in the couch for the day. A lazy rainy day to boot. Perfect for long naps.
I really enjoyed your post today. Shutters is a store I could love to visit. The different looks and the great vignettes were an inspiration to Start one of my own. A vignette not a store!!!
Have a happy day.
Hugs, Jeanne
