I love all their soft layers! Like a full dress and petticoat from the old days.

You have to love peonies. Hopefully a rain won't beat them down. I've been smart and for once have staked mine while they are still buds. Nancy H

Oh they definitely do. :-) I got a really good deal on a nice sized peony plant. I just plopped it in the ground today so I'm looking forward to seeing if this works out!
I did not yard sale this weekend. Shocking, I know. :-)

Peonies are so delicately and spectacularly beautiful but each spring it starts to rain just when they're about to bloom. Hope they don't get totally pounded to the ground.
