Sometimes I come up with the most brilliant ideas...and then I realize that there is nothing original about said idea at all! As everyone in the world knows, we are refinishing and decorating a bedroom upstairs in our house. You know, the one with all of the closet doors...
What I haven't shared is that there is another closet...a small room size enclave that is to be mine....all mine!
Here is a split look into this tiny room. It will serve as a closet/dressing room. The walls in the bedroom and bathroom are pale blue with white trim. The shade of pink on the ceiling of this dining room is the color I would like to paint this little closet.
I saw this dining room in a fund raising show house tour a few years ago. The pink ceiling has been lodged in my brain ever since. So, what do you think? Will this shell pink work in my space or should I stick with the original color scheme? Thanks for your input and happy Pink Saturday.
♥, Susan
You never know until you try. Paint isn't that expensive & I bet you will LOVE the new shade. Give it a go & be sure to show us lots of lovely photos when it's done. HPS!

I paint my ceilings...some are sky blue, some are sunny yellow and my kitchen is green. We do have high ceilings but I loooove them with color on them. I say go for it.

I think I would love it on the ceiling with white walls. However, I'm on a white wall kick for some reason now, so that is on MY mind! :-) Happy Pink Saturday!

I suggest that if you paint this space the desired pink you will never regret it. I love painted ceilings so paint that too. If you recall painting and wallpapering ceilings in the same shade/paper was very popular in the 70's and I think that is a great look. xo, suzy

A pink ceiling will look lovely. I once had it in a former house in my own little room. So sweet.

It's your room, you should paint it any color you love. I think the pink is very pretty. Enjoy your space :)

Happy Pink Saturday Susan Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, that pink is just perfect for the occasion. Your little nook in the world. I say go for it.
You have still been dreaming about this color and that ceiling. Pink is one of the most soothing colors in the color pallete. I can't wait to see your finished project.
Have a glorious weekend sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
