Back yard gardens gone wild and I have the pictures to prove it!
The butternut squash that re-seeds itself every year has taken on a story book theme. I wonder what will happen if we climb the vine up the holly tree stalk ala Jack and his bean stalk. There is craziness going on in the garden this year!!
On a more normalized and expected issue, the farmers market did not disappoint this morning.
There were plenty of beautiful, if not slightly pricey, heirloom tomatoes and some of the biggest onions I have ever seen.
As well as some eye poppingly bright sunflowers.
For the second time this summer, we enjoyed our traditional brunch of tomato, pig, lettuce, sourdough and Hellman's...simple happiness!
As my father in law likes to call it...the masterpiece. Enjoy your Sunday!!
I love heirloom tomatoes, your pictures are mouth watering.
